Morning Glory Breakfast Satellite Beach Florida now has two incredible locations to serve you. Our original Satellite Beach Breakfast restaurant is located at 1753 Highway A1A Satellite Beach, FL 33937 and now our second location is located at 724 S Patrick Dr Satellite Beach, FL 32937.

After doing everything humanly possible to decrease wait time and to increase efficiency we thought about it, we prayed about it and then we began discussing opening up our second location of Morning Glory Satellite Beach Breakfast to accommodate the demand from great people like you.

What Is the History of Satellite Beach Florida?

Satellite Beach Florida offers a unique and scenic seaside community that is located on what is called barrier island which is located on the Space Coast. What is the Space Coast? Space Coast is the 3-square mile piece of land that is surrounded by the good folks at the Patrick Air Force Base to the north of our restaurant and the Indian Harbour Breach which is located to the south. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is located directly to our east and the Banana River which is located to our west.

When Did Satellite Beach Florida Start?

In the year 1956, three beautiful brothers and their cousin, decided to buy a 130-acre piece of land in a sand-covered beachside area that was covered with palmettos, sand spurs and scrub brush. The land was infested with mosquitoes and the land required an incredible imagination in order for one to see the beautiful seaside community that we now affectionately call Satellite Beach, Florida. The free brothers and their cousin were all from North Carolina, yet they quickly adapted to the Florida climate and the Florida way of life. At the time that the three brothers and their cousin purchased the land which is now known as Satellite Beach Florida, the A1A was a very narrow and graveled road that served as a link between Cape Canaveral and the causeways that lead to the mainland of Florida. However, this family was relentless when it came to turning their vision into realty. 

Percy Hedgecock (wife Helen), and his brothers Shine (wife Annie) and Hub (wife Irma) along with their cousin Jimmy Caudle (wife Nancy) had a vision and they were committed to turning their vision into reality. The family had a unified vision to create a community that would be focused on family values while creating endless recreational opportunities for young and old alike. In fact, within just five short months, this family had built a total of seven houses. The family built four houses for their own family and built an additional three homes for the purpose of selling them.

At this time in Florida history, the need for affordable and high-quality housing was very high and the location population was swelling due to the influx of aerospace related workers that were being recruited to work at Cape Canaveral. Soon, a massive inflow of new families descended upon Satellite Beach Florida. These hard-working families were looking to find affordable high-quality housing and thus the houses were being sold as fast as they were being built.
